 Dr. Dita Federman is an accredited Dance Movement Therapist (DMT), psychotherapist, senior researcher, lecturer and supervisor. She has years of experience working within psychiatric settings; children, adults and geriatric populations. She has established DMT in ‘Rambam’ Medical Center’s Psychiatric department, and is head of the DMT training at the grad. School of Creative Art Therapies, since 2008. Her areas of interest are Trauma, ‘Mindfulness’ and stress management as well as Neurodegenerative disorders, especially Parkinson disease. She has been developing her own form of attentive movement with groups and individuals. Her clinical work has influenced her approach to DMT and attentive movement both of which are informed by her research.
