Efrat Roginsky is a certified music therapist, a supervisor and lecturer at the School of Creative Arts Therapies, University of Haifa, Israel. She also works as an arts therapy coordinator and supervisor with the Israeli Board of Education.
Dr. Roginsky’s areas of interest include children with neurodevelopmental challenges; ecologic and community based interventions; music therapy as social activism; music in special education; arts therapies in education. Some of her work has been publishes, and presented at several conferences.
Dr. Roginsky’s M.A research studied the impact of short term dyadic music therapy on high functioning children with CP and their mothers. Her PhD study at Haifa University examined the use and meanings of music with profoundly disabled young people with CP and their parents.
